As mentioned on the Mitchell page, this was an important meeting for both sides of my mother's family as two of the daughters were direct ancestors on both sides of my maternal tree.
David married Ann Mitchell on the 3rd of December 1808 and died between 1823 and 1826. They had eight children. It can be safely assumed that David died circa 1926 since that was the time of the birth of his last child.
Ann Watt married firstly John Sheret who tragically drowned and secondly George Douglas who was a baker in Johnshaven.
