Margaret married James Vannet on the 21st of November 1807 in the parish of St Vigeans, Angus. However, rather than being like most St Vigeans marriages, this was probably in the country area north of Arbroath and not Auchmithie as James was a labourer.
I have record of five children of the couple and I am descended from the first child who was called Alexander Vannet.
